An upcoming festival is bringing a day packed full with music, tasty treats and savory drinks for residents and visitors of South Padre Island.

A Taco and Margarita Festival will be held on Saturday, Aug. 14 outside of Clayton’s Beach Bar and Grill from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Organizers say festival attendees will find South Padre’s best restaurants, food trucks and carts serving up an amazing variety of mouth-watering tacos and related food items.

There will also be bars and beverage stations serving margaritas, tequila shots, ice cold beer, water soda and more.

Music will be played throughout the festival by live bands and DJs.

The festival is organized by AZ Food Festivals, LLC, an event planning team that’s been hosting food and beverage festivities since 2018.

Children ages 12 and younger have free admission into to the festival.

General admission for ages 13 and older costs $10 plus an additional fee of $1.93.

VIP admission for 21 and older costs $45 with an additional fee of $5.22. This admission includes festival entrance, a free T-shirt, two free margaritas and two free tacos.

According to event organizers, ticket prices are subject to increase at any time. They advise those interested not to delay in buying tickets because these events often sell out.
