Dinosaur George leads interactive fossil show in McAllen

Have you ever seen a saber-toothed cat skull?

You’ll have a change to see one if you stomp over to Quinta Mazatlán at 7 p.m,. Thursday, Aug. 12 for an interactive show featuring over 30 fossils and an amazing presentation on prehistoric life.

Dinosaur George will bring an interactive prehistoric world to life just for you. There will also be a special photo session at the conclusion where families can take pictures with him and some exhibit items.

“Dinosaur George” Blassing is a self-taught paleontologist and animal behaviorist with over 36 years of research and study. He is a public speaker, author, television host, and writer. He even has his own television series on the History Channel, Jurassic Fight Club, which has been viewed by 40 million people. Dinosaur George has spent more than 17 years teaching to elementary, intermediate, and middle school students about the amazing creatures who once ruled the earth. He has volunteered his time and made hundreds of appearances at Boys and Girls Clubs, children’s hospitals, YMCA’s, and Boys and Girls Scouting events. Now, he brings an entire pre-historic museum to the schools he visits.
