Family fun night at Quinta Mazatlán

Dancers from Deborah Case Dance Academy will be dancing and shining in the North Lawn of Quinta Mazatlán from 7 to 8 p.m., Thursday, June 10. Enjoy the music and performances as well as walk the trails.

Families are invited to come out and see the dancers from ages 3-18 years old perform highlights from their recent recitals which include ballet, hip hop, jazz and tap.

“The dancers are excited to be back & performing at Quinta Mazatlán, doing what we love to do for the community.” said Deborah Case, owner of Deborah Case Dance Academy.

The academy has been teaching valley children for over 20 years. Deborah Case has a background in Russian Ballet which she received a teacher training from Bolshoi Ballet Academy in Russia. Her studio offers classes in ballet, jazz, contemporary and has recently participated in dance competitions bringing back several trophies to their studio. Deborah Case Dance Academy holds two recitals a year at McAllen Performing Arts Center and they are the home of the Rio Grande Valley Ballet, serving audiences for 47 years with The Nutcracker.

Thursday Family Fun Nights will be from June to August and are generously sponsored by Freels Orthodontics. The summer series is designed to encourage parents and kids to learn and play in nature. Mark your calendar for Thursday nights and have fun with Superheroes, Magic, Live Animals, Music, Dance, Art and more.
